Do you fancy visiting the post-apocalyptic wasteland, meeting new and interesting people, and embarking on adventures full of action, intrigue, and a touch of radiation? Then the world of Fallout is perfect for you.

Fallout Season 2 on Amazon Prime has immersed fans and newcomers alike in the perilous world of the Wasteland, revisiting fan-favorite locations, including New Vegas, for the first time since it appeared in the game Fallout: New Vegas in 2010. Series veterans will also have recognized Shady Sands from Fallout 1 and Fallout 2, as well as the iconic airships of the Brotherhood of Steel.
If the Fallout series has sparked your curiosity about life in the Wasteland, Fallout 76 is the perfect place to continue the adventure.  The new Burning Springs update is packed with locations that feel just as dangerous, mysterious, and rewarding as those you’ve seen on screen . From perilous ruins to thriving settlements, every corner of Appalachia offers stories to uncover and challenges to overcome.

Take a look below and explore the «must-visit» destinations in the series, within Fallout 76.

Dino Peaks Mini Golf

Dino Peaks Mini Golf is the perfect way to unwind in the Wasteland. Fans of Fallout Season 2 and Novac’s Dino Dee-lite Motel in Fallout: New Vegas will feel right at home at Dino Peaks Mini Golf: a family-friendly, pre-war mini-golf course with nine holes of prehistoric thrills to enjoy… if you don’t get eaten by the resident Deathclaws first! Discover dinosaurs reminiscent of Dinky the T-Rex of Novac himself, including triceratops, stegosaurs, brontosauruses, and tyrannosaurs rex.

Oxide Kingdom

If you loved seeing the various raider factions of the Fallout universe on screen, visit the Rust Kingdom and meet the Rust Raiders of the Wasteland. At the heart of Fallout 76’s new Burning Springs region, the Rust King and his army enforce the «might makes right» ideology to rule their industrial hellscape, complete with a junkyard, a Deathclaw enclosure, and fields of chemical storage tanks. Enter their arena and discover why they are one of the most feared factions in the Wasteland.

Athens

Like many of the deserted cities in the Fallout franchise, Athens, Ohio, is a stark reminder that war never changes. Once a pre-war college town with an unwavering love for its football team and Halloween celebrations, Athens is now a withered shell where only ghouls and radroaches remain. For intrepid adventurers, Athens and Hocking University are filled with abandoned treasures and eerie scenes, while the people of Burning Springs avoid the ghost town at all costs for fear of the danger lurking within.

Highway Town

A watering hole built atop the hanging ruins of Route 35, Highway Town serves as the main trading post and population center of Burning Springs. It’s reminiscent of other Fallout towns like Filly from Season 1 of the series or Diamond City in Fallout 4. Highway Town is one of the few sources of clean water in the region and maintains an unspoken agreement of uneasy neutrality for all who pass through. Most Wastelanders head to the Last Resort bar, where the Ghoul and his bounty-hunting operation are currently based. Once you visit, you’ll return to Highway Town again and again to collect loot, hunt bounties, and thrive in one of the most populated areas in the region.

Super-Duper Mart

Keen-eyed viewers of Fallout Season 1 on Amazon Prime, and veterans of Fallout 3 and Fallout 4, will recognize the Super-Duper Mart, which has arrived in the Burning Springs region in Fallout 76. Part of a pre-war supermarket chain, this Super-Duper Mart has been looted dozens of times by Wastelanders since the bombs fell. Located in a small roadside shopping center, it now serves only as a refuge for bounty targets, who use it as a hideout to escape bounty hunters.

Illegal Scrap Yard

While the famous Red Rocket gas stations are often a safe haven for adventurers to rest during their travels (as seen in Season 1 of the series, and in Fallout 3 and Fallout 4), the same cannot be said for the Underground Junkyard: a former Red Rocket station and Buckeye diner converted into a raider outpost under the control of the Rust King. The Underground Junkyard is one of the Rust Raiders’ vendor outposts, where traders sell scrap metal, barter goods, and make a living however they can in Burning Springs. However, Wastelanders who happen to be on the wrong side of the Rust Raiders can expect a fierce fight at the Underground Junkyard, with battles raging from the outpost’s shooting range to the basement of the Buckeye diner—a hotspot for the Rust Raiders’ most sinister activities in the region.
Like the rest of the Fallout franchise, the new Burning Springs update is full of stories of survival, greed, and cooperation, with cities and factions reminiscent of those seen in the Amazon Prime series Fallout: New Vegas and other fan favorites. Whether you’re starting your journey through the Wasteland for the first time or you’re a seasoned veteran, Fallout 76: Burning Springs is perfect for exploring your own post-apocalyptic survival story.
Fallout 76: Burning Springs is available on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PlayStation 5 and 4. Fallout 76 is also available on Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra.
